Cynthia Jones-ParksCynthia Jones Parks
President & CEO

Cynthia Jones Parks is founder, president and CEO of Jones Worley, an Atlanta-based communications firm now in its 28th year. Parks is a skilled consensus builder who has gained a national reputation in the transportation industry for her outstanding work in marketing communications, strategic branding, wayfinding and signage design.  Clients know they can count on her to provide creative solutions that impact their bottom line.  Her firm has worked on projects for more than 20 airports and 13 transit authorities from California to Florida.

One of Parks’ most high-profile projects was helping to design the “look” of the Centennial Olympic Games, held in Atlanta.  Since that time, she has led the naming, branding and launching MARTA’s Breeze Card, the first 100 percent smart card conversion in the U.S.  The success of that project landed her firm seven other smart card conversion contracts for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority/Tri-Rail, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, the Port Authority of Allegheny County (Pittsburgh), Metro/St. Louis, the Sacramento Area Council of Governments, and the Capital District Transportation Authority (Albany, NY). No other marketing communications firm in the country has guided the implementation of more transit smart cards than Jones Worley.  Most recently, she was part of the team that branded the new Atlanta Streetcar.

Parks formerly served on the Board of Advisors for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta Chapter of the Conference Of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO), Board of Directors for the Georgia State Alumni Association, and the Small Business, Agricultural and Labor Advisory Board for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

Parks is currently active with the American Public Transportation Association, COMTO, Society of Marketing Professional Services, American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Society for Environmental Graphic Design. She is also a member of the 1997 class of Leadership Atlanta and is frequently recognized for her many achievements in local, national and international publications. Parks has a BA Degree in Visual Arts from Georgia State University.


Shawn Lingle
Sr. Vice President for Marketing and Communications

Shawn Lingle, vice president, leads the agency’s transit practice. A strong strategist and project manager, Lingle has been in the industry since 2004, introducing new initiatives to customers, employees, influencers and the community at large. She has successfully led marketing efforts for the transition of seven new fare collection systems in North America — and will soon begin work on her eighth. Lingle has worked with authorities across the country, from Northern California to Southern Florida, and the Midwest and Northeast. She has also worked in a variety of transportation modes—from commuter rail and heavy rail, to light rail, bus, trolley, ferries and even inclines—with system sizes ranging from 13,000 to 550,000 daily boardings. Lingle’s clients have included Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, Port Authority of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, Metro/St. Louis, Sacramento Area Council of Governments, South Florida Regional Transportation Authority in Fort Lauderdale, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency and the Capital District Transportation Authority in Albany, NY.

A member of the American Public Transportation Association, she has given presentations on “Lessons Learned from the Final Stretch,”Smart Marketing” and “And Now a Word from Marketing…,” and led a panel discussion on “Marketing New Fare Media” at the organization’s annual marketing and fare collection conferences. She is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America.

Lingle graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida with a B.A. degree in mass communications/public relations and a minor in economics.

Thomas Bigelow
Executive Creative Director

Tom Bigelow has been bringing a fresh sense of style to Jones Worley Design since 2015. As Executive Creative Director, Tom is responsible for the development and fulfillment of Jones Worley creative output, both verbal and visual, on a global basis. His strategy-driven approach challenges contemporary marketing without losing sight of real, practical needs. From a visuals standpoint, he has focused on challenging the clichés of the industry to ensure distinctive and more meaningful connections with target audiences.

Meanwhile, Tom’s corporate and franchise work has helped company brands like Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Coca-Cola Refreshments, UPS, The Georgia Association of Realtors, Purpose Built Communities, Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, The Atlanta Streetcar, Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), MARTA and East Lake Golf Club.

Tom has shaped the dialogues and conversations around marketing as an award-winning creative.  His industry recognition includes more than 300 Gold, Silver and Bronze local, regional and national Addy Awards, Telly Awards and American Marketing Awards as well as Best in Show awards in both the AgriMarketing and Construction Equipment industries.

He has directed brands in various industries throughout his career:  The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, The InterContinental Hotel Group, Discovery Channel’s Animal Planet, HBO, Nickelodeon, STARZ! Encore, Paradise Foods and Cox Interactive Media.


Alejandra Thomas
Sr. Vice President for Experiential Graphic Design

Alejandra Thomas has 11 years of experiential graphic design experience in creating exceptional environments that are both functional and user-friendly. With her balance of left and right brain traits, Alejandra has developed highly analytical research and quality-control skills, as well as creative and conceptual talents that she uses to help clients with project messaging, branding, and overall communications strategies.

Alejandra is a supportive leader and efficient large-scale project manager who enjoys collaborating with design teams and fabricators while tailoring design solutions to meet the client’s vision and expectations.

Alejandra was part of the team that created Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s Signage Standards as well as the Master Signage Plan for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This experience goes beyond airport applications and allows her to provide clients with the analytical know-how needed to make wayfinding/ design assessments and recommendations that are processed, refined and developed into viable, effective solutions.

Alma Hill
Media and Public Relations Manager

Hill is an award-winning journalist with more than 25 years of experience as a creative writer, editor, web content producer, columnist and news reporter. She uses her media, public relations and communications expertise to help Jones Worley clients express their views in print and electronically to local and national level audiences.  Her scope of client services includes writing speeches, articles for publication, and news releases; issues consultation and crises management; media coaching, executive positioning, marketing, and project management.

Hill also coordinates client press conferences, groundbreakings and social media strategy.  Her clients include the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, Long Beach Transit, the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority and the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials. As a news reporter, Hill wrote about such issues as local government, community development, education, nonprofits, transportation and current events.

Hill has a B.A. in Journalism from Seattle University in Seattle, WA and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Queens University in Charlotte, NC.

She is a member of Sigma Delta Chi (Society of Professional Journalists), the Association of Writers & Writing Programs and Authors, Writers, Publishers, Editors and Writing Professionals.
